CityChic for their 2017 Summer Campaign.

This was actually unexpected. Their marketing director decided to shoot this last minute. I had no lighting gear with me.

Luckily the photographer Richard Nolan-Neylan had some strobes which had model lights. Normally the light they were emitting wouldn’t be enough to provide a decent exposure. Fortunately, I was using an FS5 with a Sigma 18-35 f1.8. The FS5 as it’s base iso of 3200 in slog3 provided a tremendous amount of light.  As a result, I was able to expose at f4 which shocked me. As the image was shot in 10bit all the colour holds up and the blacks are absolutely black.

The Video Editing

For the editing, I was opposed to the challenge of making this piece interesting. As you can see I used a lot of effects.  The effects inject life into each cut and shot. The icing on the cake is the vibrancy.  The actual shots themselves aren’t very interesting and were mostly static.
